OPPO has confirmed through its official social media
channels and press releases that the launch event for the F33 Series is
scheduled for April 15, 2026. The launch is expected to be an
India-exclusive affair, continuing the brand's focus on the Indian mid-range
market.
While official pricing will be announced at the event, industry reports suggest that the OPPO F33 5G and F33 Pro 5G will be positioned in the competitive sub-Rs. 35,000 bracke. Leaks indicate that the base variant of the OPPO F33 5G (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) could be priced around Rs. 23,999, while the Pro model is expected to go up to approximately Rs. 35,000 depending on the configuration.
The OPPO F33 Pro is being marketed as a
"selfie-first" mid-ranger. The standout feature is its 50MP
Ultra-Wide Front Camera with an industry-leading 100° Field of View
(FOV). This is the widest front camera in its segment, designed specifically
for group selfies without requiring a selfie stick. The camera uses a GC50F6
sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus support. It also features AI
Groupfie Expert, which intelligently switches to a 0.6x wide-angle mode when
more than two people are detected in the frame, ensuring no one gets cropped out.
On the rear, the device features a 50MP primary camera (OV50D40
sensor) paired with a 2MP depth sensor to assist with portrait shots. The
camera module, dubbed the "Starry Sea Lens Module," has been
redesigned with a clean vertical stack of two large lenses and a distinctive
ring LED flash housed in a flush rectangular island.
The design language includes a 6.57-inch flat AMOLED display and a unibody back panel made from a single 1.5mm polymer composite sheet. This material is significantly thicker than standard injection-molded plastic backs, offering better durability without the fragility of glass. The F33 Pro will be available in three finishes: Misty Forest (featuring a dynamic pine tree silhouette pattern), Starry Blue, and Passion Red.
Perhaps the most unexpected feature of the F33 Series is its
extreme durability. OPPO has confirmed that the devices will carry an IP69K
certification, which is a significant step up from the IP67/IP68 ratings
commonly found in this price segment. This rating ensures the phone is
completely dust-tight and can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water
jets from multiple angles.
The durability extends to the internal structure with a "360° Armour Body." This includes an aerospace-grade AM04 aluminum alloy frame, reinforced collision beams, and an internal "airbag" cushioning system using foam and silicone pads to protect critical components during drops. The device has reportedly undergone military-grade testing for extreme temperatures, corrosion, and drops.
Powering the OPPO F33 Series is a massive 7,000mAh
battery—a standout specification for users seeking long endurance. OPPO claims
that the battery is rated to retain up to 80% of its capacity after 1,830 full
charge cycles (equivalent to approximately five years of daily use), thanks to
a self-repairing electrolyte technology. The devices will support 80W
SuperVOOC fast charging, along with reverse charging and bypass charging
features.
Under the hood, the OPPO F33 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, while the standard F33 5G may share a similar or slightly toned-down configuration. Both phones are expected to run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
