Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra Now officially launched in India with flagship features and pricing details

Xiaomi has introduced its latest flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, to the Indian market. Both devices arrive with specifications identical to their global versions, ensuring Indian customers get the same premium experience.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at INR 1,39,999 ($1,525) for the single 16GB/512GB configuration. As part of an early bird offer running from March 13 to March 17, buyers will receive the Xiaomi Professional Photography Kit at no extra cost. The device will be available in Black and White color options, starting March 18, through Amazon and Xiaomi’s official online store.

Under the hood, the Ultra variant is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and features a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

On the camera front, the Ultra boasts a Leica-branded rear setup comprising a 50MP 1-inch primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS and continuous optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide unit. A 50MP front camera is also included. The device carries IP66 and IP65 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 starts at INR 89,999 ($980) for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/512GB model is priced at INR 99,999 ($1,090). During the early bird window (March 13–17), customers can purchase the 512GB model at the same price as the 256GB version.

This compact flagship is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC but comes with a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display offering 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. It packs a 6,330mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

For photography, the Xiaomi 17 features a Leica triple rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera, along with a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus. The device carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
